Bidimensional spatial solitary waves in quadratically nonlinear bulk media

We numerically investigate the excitation, propagation and characteristic features of spatial soliton-like waves formed via three-wave mixing in a birefringent bulk medium in the presence of spatial walk-off. Effects such as angular steering, all-optical switching and beam pointing stabilization are addressed in the cases of normal and tilted input beams.
