Curriculum Vitae
Armando Piccardi (b. in Sora on 11/07/1976) received in July 2003 an MSc degree in Electronic Engineering ("Laurea") from the University of L'Aquila, with a thesis entitled "Generation of bidimensional spatial solitons in photorefractive crystals". In 2004 he completed an international Master of Science in Nanotechnologies from the University Ca' Foscari in Venice and University of Padua and enrolled for an internship at the Fraunhofer Institute for Materials and Laser Techniques in Dresden (Germany), working on XRR thin film characterization. In 2010 he completed his PhD at the University "Roma Tre" defending a dissertation on "Optical spatial solitons for all-optical signal processing".
