Nonlinear optical lattices

Discrete light propagation in waveguide arrays in the linear and nonlinear optical regimes. Experimental investigation of one-dimensional lattices and related effects (Zener tunneling, steering, spatial solitons, switching, dispersion spectroscopy) in glass arrays by direct-laser writing and in elctro-optically tunable liquid crystalline samples.
